One Casio. One Goal. The Ultimate Trade-Up.

It started with a simple question: In a world of six-figure price tags and "exclusive" waitlists, is there still room for a great story?

As a retail worker, the A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk isn't just a watch, it’s a masterpiece that feels like it belongs in a different universe. Most people would say owning one on a retail salary is impossible. I want to see if they're wrong.

Inspired by the "God Tier" status of the legendary Casio F-91W, and it's afordability, I am launching a social experiment to bridge the gap between a $20 digital icon and the pinnacle of mechanical art. The rules are strict and simple:

I start with one Casio, and I trade it for another watch.

Then, I trade that watch for the next.

And that watch for the next one.

And the next one.

No cash can be added, and no other items can be included. It is a pure, watch-for-watch journey from the bottom of the ladder to the very top.

This project isn’t about the monetary value of gears and springs. It’s about the community that makes watches special. Every trade is a handshake, a conversation, and a new chapter in a story that shouldn't be possible. I’m documenting every step of the way to see how far a humble Casio and a bit of persistence can actually go. Whether it takes months or years, the goal remains the same: proving that the passion for what we wear on our wrists can take us anywhere.
